Job Description
About the Position We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district near Temperanceville, Virginia. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with students across a variety of grade levels, helping them develop the functional skills needed for success in the classroom and daily school activities. School-based OT roles in the area typically focus on evaluations, IEP services, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services to students with a variety of educational needs. Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development. Deliver direct and consultative therapy services. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations as needed. Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. Active Virginia Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure. Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
