Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Virginia Experienced in providing OT services within school settings Strong communicator, eager to collaborate with school teams and families Organized and flexible with an adaptive approach to changing caseloads Ready to begin the VA Department of Social Services check promptly Able to complete a TB test per state requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct OT interventions tailored to students' individual educational plans Contribute insights and recommendations in multidisciplinary meetings Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all sessions and progress Advocate for student needs, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents Adjust service delivery as required, based on caseload details once confirmed
