Qualifications:
Valid and active Virginia Occupational Therapist license required Previous school-based OT experience preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, and staff Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple school locations Commitment to supporting diverse learners and advocating for student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a varied K-12 caseload Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and related service providers to create inclusive educational environments Maintain organized records of assessments, interventions, and student progress Provide training and resources to staff and families on fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills Travel between 2-3 assigned school sites each week Enjoy the benefits of highly competitive compensation with weekly pay.
