Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower students to achieve their highest potential by making a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position places you at the heart of a collaborative educational community near Arlington, VT, where your expertise will be valued and your work truly matters.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience or strong interest in school-based OT settings Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs Strong communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Driven to foster independence, skill-building, and confidence in children and adolescents
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine students' unique needs Develop and carry out individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create accessible learning environments Adapt materials and strategies to promote success for students with diverse abilities Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Provide consultation and professional development for school staff as needed
