Job Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) - PRN Barre Gardens Nursing and Rehab | Barre, VT Barre Gardens Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) - PRN to provide rehabilitation services for our skilled nursing facility in Barre, VT. The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides occupational therapy services designed to maximize independence, functional abilities, and quality of life. Responsibilities Evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and establish individualized treatment plans with measurable short- and long-term goals Implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on residents' individual needs and abilities Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team to develop and coordinate effective therapy programs Instruct residents, families, and caregivers in occupational therapy techniques and treatment plans Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and communication Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in the State of Vermont Strong communication and interpersonal skills Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred, but not required Benefits We strive to provide our employees with a comprehensive and affordable benefits package, including: Medical and Prescription Drug Coverage Dental and Vision Care Telemedicine Program Company-Paid Group Life Insurance Voluntary Term Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability 401(k) Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Time Off (vacation, personal, and sick leave) DailyPay - View your paycheck as it accrues daily, with the option to withdraw earned wages for a nominal fee Benefits, bonuses, and variable compensation plans are based on applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.
