Job Description

The Mobility Specialist is a certified wellness professional providing one-on-one assisted stretching sessions. They must be familiar using proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) techniques and myofascial release methods. Session goals will be to improve client mobility, reduce pain, increase ease and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Client Experience Tailor adaptive techniques for individual client needs, limitations, and goals Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Educate clients on body mechanics, stretching and exercise benefits Technical Knowledge and Skills Integrate breathing techniques to enhance stretch benefits Recognize contraindications and modify techniques accordingly Physical stamina to perform 6-8 sessions daily Core Values Support diverse client populations Team-oriented, collaborative mindset Professionalism Guiding Client Partnership Build rapport and trust via professional, compassionate interactions Guide and address client's sensory feedback Handle sensitive health information with HIPAA like confidentiality Studio Ops and Support Educate clients about stretching benefits and services Increase client retention via best-in-service and client flow Maintain clean, organized, and professional work environment Experience 1-2 years experience in fitness, massage therapy, or wellness field preferred Experience working one-on-one with clients in therapeutic setting Understanding of common injuries, chronic pain, and movement dysfunctions Entry-level candidates with strong educational background considered Qualifications Education & Certification (One Required) Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field , OR Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA), OR Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with current state licensure, OR Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), OR Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or similar allied health credential Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200/500) or equivalent certification, with depth of lived experience Company-Specific Training Passing score on practical and written competency assessments Ongoing continuing education requirements (12-20 hours annually) CPR/AED certification (must be current)
Pay:
$23.00 - $33.00 per hour
