Key Qualifications:

Current Occupational Therapist license or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentials, appropriate to your role Previous experience working in a school setting highly valued Expertise in planning and implementing individualized therapies for students with diverse needs Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility, organizational skills, and a student-focused approach

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess students functional skills and develop tailored intervention plans Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services as outlined in students' IEPs Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers and support staff Track and report on student progress, adjusting therapy goals as needed Educate caregivers and staff on strategies to reinforce student success Maintain compliance with all documentation, district, and licensure requirements
