Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a positive impact as an Occupational Therapist working across multiple school sites near Putney, VT. This contract opportunity spans all grade levels (K-12) within a supportive district environment. You'll provide essential services to students across four buildings, helping them access the curriculum and develop crucial skills. This full-time position offers a rewarding experience, collaborating closely with educators and families throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Vermont OT certificate (required) Experience with K-12 students, preferably within a school setting Strong knowledge of school-based OT assessment and intervention planning Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and multiple school sites Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP and 504 plans Conduct assessments and document student progress accurately Consult with teachers, parents, and other support staff to enhance student participation and achievement Develop and implement individualized and group interventions designed for student success Travel between four district school buildings as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting and progress reviews Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities This contract role covers the 2026-2027 academic school year, beginning in late August and concluding in mid-June.
