Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting contract opportunity awaits skilled Occupational Therapists ready to make a difference in a school setting near Aberdeen, WA. Work full-time onsite, providing expert OT services for the entire 2026-27 academic year. With a schedule of 37.5 hours weekly, you'll have the chance to support students' growth and independence through individualized and group interventions.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license in Washington State Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred Strong evaluation, documentation, and communication skills Knowledge of IEP process and ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers Flexibility and organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse learning needs in a school-based environment Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in the development of IEP goals Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving students' functional skills within the classroom setting Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports as required by school guidelines Consult with teachers and staff to integrate OT goals into daily routines Serve as a resource for families and caregivers to support student progress This onsite position offers the chance to work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary educational team, helping students engage successfully in their academic and social environments.
