What Were Looking For:

Valid state of Washington Occupational Therapist license Experience or genuine interest in working with children or youth in a school setting Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt activities and therapy strategies for a variety of student needs A proactive, solution-focused attitude Organized, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team

Position Details and Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, planning, and direct OT services to students with a range of needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school support staff to optimize student success Design and implement individualized treatment plans to develop fine motor, sensory, and functional skills Monitor and document student progress, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Consult on classroom modifications or adaptations to foster student participation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student care Commitment for the full school year, with immediate start through June 11, 2027 Flexible scheduling: 1-2 days per week, 714 hours total, tailored to your availability This position offers the chance to create real impact in students lives while maintaining a flexible work-life balance.
