Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact by supporting students across a dynamic district environment as an Occupational Therapist for the 26/27 school year. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, serving a diverse caseload district wide and collaborating with dedicated educators to foster student success. You'll have the chance to apply your expertise in various settings, including traditional schools, healthcare, home health, and teletherapy, making a positive difference in students' daily lives.
Qualifications:
Possess a valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license Experience or knowledge in school-based OT, healthcare, home health, and teletherapy Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with school staff, students, and families Comfortable adapting therapeutic strategies to meet the needs of a wide-ranging student population High level of organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities Dedication to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for all students
Key Responsibilities:
Provide OT services to students across the district, including screening, assessment, treatment planning, and intervention Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development Develop and implement IEP goals and document student progress effectively Conduct therapy in a variety of settings: on campus, at home, or via teletherapy as needed Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success This role not only offers rewarding work but also access to comprehensive benefits for onsite employees, including weekly pay, 401K retirement plans, and insurance covering medical, dental, vision, and life.
