What You'll Do As a Staff Occupational Therapist, you will: Evaluate patients within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of physician referral Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide treatment according to physician orders Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with state practice acts Participate in care conferences, rehab meetings, and utilization review Train nursing staff and Restorative Aides Educate patients and families on home programs and discharge planning Recommend and facilitate ordering of necessary adaptive equipment Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations and payer requirements Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy (Master's or Doctorate preferred) Current Occupational Therapist license in good standing (state-specific) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and team members Proficiency in electronic medical records (experience with NetHealth or PointClickCare a plus) Commitment to continuing education and professional excellence Ready to Make a Difference?
