Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington State Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred Strong skills in assessment, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and therapeutic intervention Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt activities and strategies to meet diverse student needs Familiarity with relevant school documentation and compliance standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students strengths and areas for improvement Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote student independence Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure integrated support Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation Encourage student participation in classroom and school activities Deliver both direct and consultative services as needed This is an opportunity to shine in a contract role that values your professional expertise and dedication to student success.
