Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Washington State (WA OT License) ESA certification (Educational Staff Associate) Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) Experience serving school-aged children in an educational setting Strong communication and collaboration skills Detail-oriented and committed to evidence-based practice

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver in-person occupational therapy services for a designated caseload of 32 elementary students Conduct assessments, develop IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals, and implement therapy interventions individually or in small groups Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate students academic and functional success Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and timely reports in compliance with district and state regulations Support students in accessing curriculum, developing fine and gross motor skills, and increasing independence within the school environment Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings and offer expertise for program planning This contract role runs from ASAP through June 11, 2027, for a full 7.5-hour workday schedule.
