Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students from preschool through high school in a dynamic educational setting. As a contracted Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in fostering student independence and functional skills while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Assignments are conveniently located near Kent, WA, with a Monday through Friday schedule, starting around 8:00 am and ending by 3:30 pm. Exact hours and assignments may shift slightly depending on caseload needs and school events.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Active OT licensure in the state of Washington Prior experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings Strong understanding of IEP procedures, direct and consultative service delivery models Ability to handle a caseload of up to 950 direct service minutes per week efficiently Familiarity with working with students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade Excellent communication and organization skills, especially in a school-based collaborative environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to meet IEP goals Assess student abilities and develop individualized therapy plans Maintain accurate documentation of therapies, evaluations, and progress Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize student outcomes Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required Adapt to shifting daily schedules based on school assignments and student needs
