Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower students and support their growth as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in the Seattle area. If you're skilled in providing OT services within school settings and passionate about making a difference, this contract opportunity could be a great fit. Multiple positions are available, offering flexibility and the ability to impact students throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington state Previous experience working in a school environment preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students, focusing on enhancing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence in daily school activities Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote inclusive educational strategies Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Adapt interventions to suit diverse student needs across general and special education settings
Available Assignments:
Four-day-per-week role (.8 FTE) from August 28 to June 18, covering the full school year in the South Seattle area Full-time opportunity for the second semester (January 4-June 18) in the Southwest Seattle area Step into an engaging school-based environment where your expertise will be valued and your input will matter every day.
