Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting students by providing essential occupational therapy services in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, with several positions open to qualified Occupational Therapists. The role involves engaging with diverse student populations, where your expertise will empower learners and help them overcome barriers to academic success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Washington State ESA credential required Valid WA OT license Fingerprinted clearance through OSPI Previous experience in school-based settings (preferred) Flexibility to work across multiple grade bands, as caseload assignments will be tailored to candidate skills and district needs Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students to identify unique needs and develop individualized intervention plans Provide direct occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated student support Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings Adapt therapy techniques and strategies to meet varied student needs Contribute to multidisciplinary teams committed to student growth and inclusion As an Occupational Therapist in this setting, you'll enjoy the chance to make a true difference—providing hands-on support while cultivating functional, social, and academic skills among students.
