Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Approximately 34 students, final school assignments to be determined Work setting: In-person, school-basedRequired Qualifications and Experience:
Active Washington State Occupational Therapist (OT) license Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification required Prior experience as a school-based OT preferred Solid understanding of therapy assessments, intervention strategies, and IEP documentations within the school context Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with school staff, students, and familiesRole Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students, supporting success in their educational setting Assess student needs, develop and implement IEP goals, and monitor progress effectively Provide consultation and education to teachers and parents regarding strategies for classroom adaptations and student support Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences as assigned Maintain detailed documentation and records in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and practice This contract position offers the chance to foster student growth and independence alongside passionate educators.
