Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist supporting a dynamic school community for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with students to promote independence, participation, and success within school settings. Serving a caseload of up to 30 students, you'll collaborate with educators and families to deliver tailored therapy that nurtures each student's abilities and growth.

Qualifications:

Valid Washington State Occupational Therapist licensure and certification required Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI before start date Experience with pediatric or K-12 populations in educational environments strongly preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and families Current knowledge of best practices in school-based OT Collaborative approach and organizational skills to manage documentation and caseload responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and group OT services for students across the K-12 spectrum Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop data-driven Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to support classroom participation and curriculum access Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Educate and consult with staff and families regarding strategies for supporting student participation and independence Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for students with diverse abilities You'll work a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours onsite—engaging directly with students and school staff to create meaningful change within a close-knit educational setting.
