Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a real difference in student lives by providing occupational therapy services in school settings near Renton and Seattle, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to leverage your OT expertise for the upcoming school year and/or second semester, depending on your availability.
Two unique opportunities are available:
.8 FTE (4 days/week) from late August through mid-June, working with K-12 students in the South Seattle area. 1.0 FTE (full-time) from early January through the end of the school year, serving students in Southwest Seattle. Ideal candidates are dedicated Occupational Therapists with a passion for building supportive environments that enable students to achieve their fullest potential. You'll work closely with teachers, families, and other service providers to deliver high-quality OT support within the school setting.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy. Active OT license (or eligibility) in Washington State. Experience providing occupational therapy in school or similar pediatric environments. Ability to tailor interventions and supports to individual student needs. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans. Deliver therapy services addressing fine motor, sensory, adaptive, and daily living skills. Collaborate with IEP teams, participate in meetings, and support teachers and families with strategies and resources. Maintain thorough documentation and monitor student progress throughout the assignment. Engage in ongoing professional growth and contribute to multidisciplinary efforts in the school.
