Job Description

Occupational Therapist - School Based AB Staffing is looking for experienced Occupational Therapists (OT) for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year. Occupational Therapist (OT)
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university Must possess or be eligible for an Occupational Therapist License in the State of Washington. At least one year of relevant work experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred. BLS/CPR Cert.
Job Description:
Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset Contract through the 2025/2026 school year - 37.5 to 40 hours per week Contract follows the academic district calendar Occupational Therapist (OT)
Duties:
Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care. Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals. Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed. Document all patient care in accordance with department policies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Salary:
