Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Ready to make a meaningful impact through your expertise as an Occupational Therapist? Schools in the Sequim, WA, area are seeking a dedicated OT professional for a contract opportunity where your skills will enrich students' lives and support their development in both academic and functional settings. Desired Qualifications:
Active state licensure in Occupational Therapy Experience in school-based settings and/or home health environments Strong background in OT best practices within educational and healthcare contexts Clear communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to develop creative, evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needsResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes and IEP goals Provide direct OT services to students, both individually and in small groups, within the school setting Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school support personnel to promote student progress and ensure holistic care Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports for each student Participate actively in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development Promote student independence, participation, and success across both academic and daily living activities This role lets you work in a beautiful area, surrounded by a supportive educational community dedicated to student achievement and well-being.
