Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of patients as an Occupational Therapist dedicated to delivering exceptional therapy services in a hospital environment. This opportunity offers an engaging work setting where you'll help patients achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life through tailored therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop individualized occupational therapy plans. Implement goal-driven therapy treatments to enhance daily living and self-care skills. Document patient progress and adjust therapy techniques in accordance with ongoing needs and abilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nursing staff, and other therapists to support comprehensive care. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on best practices for safe, effective rehabilitation and aftercare. Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols, safety procedures, and state guidelines within the therapeutic setting.

Qualifications:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient engagement and collaboration with healthcare professionals. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
