Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract role supporting elementary-aged students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) centers on working with early childhood through 5th-grade learners in a lively school environment. You'll play a pivotal part in fostering students' functional independence and engagement during the school day. Work hours typically run from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional after-hours meetings to collaborate with staff and families.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active OT license in Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain Experience delivering OT services in school settings, home health, or healthcare environments Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families Committed to in-person service delivery; remote work is not offered
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for elementary students Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to address students' developmental and learning needs Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, student reviews, and after-hours meetings as required Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
