Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embrace a rewarding contract opportunity working as a full-time Occupational Therapist serving elementary students (EC-5th grade) in a supportive school environment. This in-person role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in young lives, providing therapy services that foster growth, independence, and success in the classroom and beyond.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapy license and eligibility to practice in Wisconsin Previous experience in school-based, healthcare, or home health OT settings Strong understanding of pediatric OT, including assessment, intervention, and goal-setting for elementary-aged children Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams Energetic, compassionate, and adaptable approach to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Provide ongoing progress reports and collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure integration of strategies in the classroom Attend after-hours meetings on select weeks to support students' progress and team collaboration Maintain accurate records in compliance with all school and state guidelines
