Job Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) Occupational Health Services (OHS) is a family-owned occupational medicine company that has been serving Wisconsin employers for over 30 years. We provide onsite injury management, hearing conservation, drug testing, respirator fit testing, CPR training, and occupational health services at manufacturing facilities, construction sites, and industrial workplaces throughout Wisconsin. We are seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to help build and grow our occupational injury prevention and early intervention program. This is a unique opportunity for an OT who enjoys working independently, solving workplace injury challenges, and helping employees stay healthy, productive, and on the job. Responsibilities Evaluate employees with musculoskeletal complaints and minor workplace injuries Provide early intervention for strains, sprains, repetitive-motion injuries, and discomfort complaints Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend workplace modifications Assist with return-to-work planning and functional job analysis Work directly with employers, safety teams, and employees to reduce workplace injuries Travel to client locations throughout Wisconsin Maintain accurate documentation and communication with client companies Collaborate with OHS nurses and physicians to provide exceptional occupational health services Qualifications Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Wisconsin Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries, body mechanics, and injury prevention Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Occupational health, ergonomics, industrial rehabilitation, or hand therapy experience is preferred but not required Compensation $50.00-$60.00 per hour Mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding occupational medicine company Why Join OHS? Our therapists work directly with employers and employees in manufacturing, construction, food processing, transportation, and industrial settings to identify problems early, reduce injuries, improve ergonomics, and help employees stay at work. OHS currently serves more than 40 businesses throughout Wisconsin, and this role offers the opportunity to help build a unique occupational injury prevention program while working alongside experienced occupational health nurses and physicians.
