Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an engaging contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services for the 2026-2027 academic year! This role places you at the heart of school-based therapy, making a direct impact on young learners' growth and educational experiences. You'll work with a manageable caseload—typically ranging from 35 to 45 students, primarily elementary-aged—collaborating closely with faculty and families to support each child's development.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist in Wisconsin Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred Ability to design and implement IEPs tailored to student needs Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Compassionate, adaptable, and organized in managing multiple priorities
Role Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students referred for occupational therapy services Develop and execute individualized treatment plans and goals Document student progress and adjust therapy techniques as appropriate Educate staff and parents on strategies and accommodations for classroom success Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on OT interventions Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student independence You'll enjoy the variety and fulfillment that come from working alongside dedicated professionals, all focused on helping students thrive.
