Requirements:
ACVREP Orientation & Mobility Certification (COMS) and valid West Virginia state credentials required. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive orientation and mobility evaluations to assess students' spatial awareness, travel skills, and environmental navigation. Provide direct instruction in safe, independent travel techniques across school, home, and community environments. Teach concepts related to spatial orientation, cane skills, route planning, and environmental cues tailored to visually impaired students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and TVIs to support safe navigation and access within educational settings. Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to functional travel goal development, and maintain compliant progress reports. Why Choose VyTalent Solutions?
