POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for helping patients improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. Patients may have conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling.

• You will provide for the assessment, treatment and educational support our patients.
• You will lead treatment assessments and care plans for patients needing Occupational Therapy. The OT-R regularly offer groups, engage with patients to ensure they are actively participating with the treatment groups, activities and therapeutic OT groups in order to support their ongoing treatment goals.
• You will support and work closely and productively with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), Nurses, Therapists, Physicians and other unit staff to assure overall coordinated and therapeutic functioning of the treatment setting, including providing input to improve functioning of patients suffering from mental illness
• You will document patient Treatment plans, therapeutic interventions, Occupational Therapy groups, patient interactions and engagement as well as patient presentation during treatment on a consistent basis Your Qualifications include: Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Degree program, Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred (provisional licensure candidates ARE welcome and

) Must be 21 years of age to apply Able to pass a robust criminal history background check and drug screen Current State of Wyoming Occupational Therapist licensure (OT-R, Full or Provisional), and NBCOT certification. If provisional, must have successful completion of National Certification Examination withing 1 year of hire (Provisional OT licensure students welcome to apply).

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
