Certified Occupational Therapist-Full Time, Green River, WY

We are pleased to announce a full time Occupational Therapist position available at the Mission at Castle Rock SNF. The facility consists of 60 beds with a fantastic staff, a great working atmosphere, and is surrounded in beautiful country. We are looking for an OT looking to provide exceptional care to all of our patients. Our therapists are able to deliver patient centered care. We empower therapists to decide what their patients need, and allow enough time in their day to deliver. There are no 15 minute encounters, we do not schedule at 125% production, and we encourage our therapists to spend the time to ensure each patient receives the care they require. We are near many exciting things to do, especially if you are an outdoor enthusiast. The Flaming Gorge Reservoir is only 25 minutes south, Jackson Hole 160 miles north, Salt Lake City 185 miles west, and several bicycle/four-wheeler/motorcycle/hiking trails around the area. We also have the world's second largest sand dune field approximately 25 minutes north. The area truly has its own beauty and appeal. Our Occupational Therapist is responsible for the following: Assessing the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment Helping children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances Assisting patients' exercise for pain relief Reviewing the patient's progress and adapting the treatment accordingly Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls Our Occupational Therapist will enjoy a generous salary, a great team, and endless career opportunities.
