We dispatch jobs, handle billing, and maintain customer communication — you handle the repairs. About the Role We're seeking an experienced Automotive Technician capable of operating independently with their own truck and tools. The workload varies from week to week, but scheduling is flexible and local to the area. This position is structured as an Independent 1099 position serving the Green River and Rock Springs area. Perfect for an experienced technician with their own truck and tools who wants to stay hands-on in the field. Repair Tech provides all branding, business cards, apparel, and advertising support to help you stay busy and professional in the community. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicles on-site Communicate with dispatch and customers clearly and professionally Maintain your own tools, truck, and equipment Provide high-quality, reliable workmanship under the Repair Tech brand Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience Valid driver's license and service-ready vehicle (Truck/Van) Complete toolset and diagnostic capability (Scan Tool Provided) Liability insurance (or willingness to obtain — assistance available) Self-motivated and customer-focused Pay & Schedule Contract-based (1099)

Pay:

$75-100+/hour depending on skill and efficiency Flexible schedule — work as jobs are dispatched Service area: Green River, Rock Springs, and nearby communities Additional Info Repair Tech may assist qualified candidates with obtaining or covering liability insurance costs. Assistance in continuing education/certifications is also available.
