Job Description
Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in a school setting located in Lonoke, Arkansas. This contract role is ideal for a dedicated COTA with experience in educational and healthcare environments, ready to support student development through therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students, addressing their physical, sensory, and cognitive needs. Collaborate with educators and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Assess student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards. Participate in team meetings and support school-wide initiatives related to student wellness and success.Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a COTA with relevant licensure. Experience working within school-based or healthcare settings preferred. Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy interventions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage caseload efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.Location:
