Summary:
The primary function of the Rehabilitation Care Tech is to assist the patients and therapist with Rehab Therapy exercises, activities, restorative care and group sessions. The Rehab Care Tech works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.
Other information:
12 college level credit hours that include a passing grade in English Composition I (transcripts will be verified) Healthcare experience preferred but not required Service industry experience preferred but not required Willingness to work flexible hours Good organization skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn and apply new healthcare related skills Ability to communicate effectively and do so consistently Ability to collaborate with the health care team effectively and do so consistently Ability to engage people at the appropriate level for their wellness and cognition Ability to problem solve Ability to be proactive in anticipating the customer's needs Will provide education that includes: CPR and Skills training This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
