Qualifications:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), current and in good standing Experience or strong interest in hospital-based therapy preferred California licensure (or eligibility) Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Proven ability to adapt to new environments and protocols

Responsibilities:

Provide goal-oriented occupational therapy interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist Support patients' rehabilitation and recovery in a hospital setting Document patient progress and collaborate with the care team to ensure the best outcomes Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal guidelines Foster an encouraging, compassionate atmosphere for patients and their families
