1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with SNF experience for a day shift contract position in Burbank, California. Details Skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00-16:30) Occasional weekend coverage may be required Floating may be required 13-26 week contract Any charting system experience accepted Requirements Active COTA license in California (license required if applicable) BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting preferred Competency in ADLs, adaptive equipment, lifting and transfer techniques, and home exercise programs Additional Information Provide occupational therapy assistant services to patients in a SNF rehabilitation setting Responsibilities may include ADL training, adaptive equipment use, pre-discharge planning, home assessments, and therapeutic modalities such as TENS and ultrasound Orthopedic experience (e.g., hip/knee replacements, hand injuries, soft tissue injuries) is a plus Splinting and prosthetics/orthotics experience may be applicable to this role 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
