Rehab Tech Location:

Livermore, CA 94550 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehab Tech to join our rehabilitation team in Livermore, CA. The Rehab Tech will assist therapists in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness. This role supports the delivery of therapeutic treatments and helps ensure a safe and effective rehabilitation environment. Key Responsibilities

Assist physical, occupational, and speech therapists with patient care and therapeutic exercises.

Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.

Monitor patients during therapy activities and report any concerns to the therapist.

Help patients with mobility and transfers as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and workspaces.

Document patient progress and assist with administrative tasks as directed.

Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Provide encouragement and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in rehabilitation technology or related field preferred.

Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is a plus.

Basic knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation equipment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and perform job duties.

CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Work Environment This position is based in a clinical rehabilitation setting in Livermore, CA. The role may require standing for extended periods and assisting patients with physical activities.
