School-Based COTA

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract A contracted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available to provide specialized support within a school setting. This role is based in Oxnard, CA, serving an elementary school caseload and focusing on enhancing students' occupational skills to support academic success and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students, addressing individual therapy goals. Collaborate with school staff and therapists to develop and implement therapy plans. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports. Assist in adapting classroom environments and activities to support student participation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working with school-based or pediatric caseloads preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with educators, parents, and students. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and scheduling.

Contract role located in Oxnard, CA.

Schedule:

2 days per week, 8 hours per day (total 16 hours weekly).

Start Date:

Immediate availability preferred.

Through June 12th.
