School-Based COTA | Plainfield, Connecticut ProCare Therapy Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This part-time position offers the chance to provide skilled occupational therapy services across multiple school sites in Plainfield, CT. Ideal candidates will work with a caseload of 15-20 students, supporting their developmental and functional goals within the educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective treatment plans Conduct assessments and document student progress consistently Manage a caseload comprised of 15-20 students across multiple school locations Adapt therapy techniques to enhance participation in school activities

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential Previous experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adjust to the dynamic school environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within the district

Location and Schedule:
