Job Summary:
Non-professional personnel working under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Therapist. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting therapists with age appropriate patient treatment, support admin duties for Therapists (as needed), and general departmental duties in the area (s) of Rehabilitation Services. Adheres to system and department policies and procedures. Incorporates the philosophies of continuous quality improvement, customer service and teamwork into daily routine.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Assisting Therapists with age appropriate patient treatment Occasional, maybe required to provide a 'second-set-of-hands" to assist treatment General Department Duties in the Area of Rehabilitation Services Maintain a Safe and Clean Patient Care Environment Maintain All Equipment Ensure the availability of all Supplies General Admin Support for Therapists Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
Required Minimum Education:
High School Diploma / GED General Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. BLS
  • Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS
  • Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I
  • Basic Life Support
  • Instructor Additional License(s) and Certification(s):

Patient related experience
