  • PRN We are seeking a knowledgeable, flexible, and patient-focused PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team.
This role offers the opportunity to support patients when coverage needs arise while working in a positive, collaborative, and supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). Assist patients in improving functional skills, mobility, strength, self-care, and daily living activities. Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions according to established goals and OT recommendations. Document treatments, progress notes, and patient responses in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the OT, nursing staff, and other care team members to support coordinated patient care and discharge planning. Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence and safety in transitional and home environments. Adhere to all professional, ethical, and facility standards while promoting a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. Provide PRN coverage for weekends, vacations, call-outs, and census changes as needed. Qualifications Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of [State]. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (AAS or equivalent). Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain). Experience in transitional care, skilled nursing, acute care, or rehabilitation setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently, follow OT treatment plans effectively, and adapt to changing patient needs. Reliable, flexible, and dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

$35.00
