We are hiring! The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will Assist with clients under direct supervision of licensed therapists, including but not limited to accompanying client to/from therapy area, assisting with materials during sessions, and assisting with lifting/transferring of clients. Prepare/clean-up treatment areas. Clean/disinfect and organize treatment areas, materials, toys and equipment. Assist with the preparation of therapy materials/supplies, including but not limited to purchasing items at a store, making copies, laminating items, organizing materials, laundering items, and preparing schedule and communication boards. Perform administrative tasks and clerical duties, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Work Environment & Physical Demands Ability to assist clients in activities including kneeling, crouching, reaching and bending Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to push large adults in wheelchairs Ability to carry 40 pounds on an occasional basis EOE/M/F/VET/DISB
