Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Rehab Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute settings. Your enthusiasm for patient service and strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology will help create a positive healing experience for our diverse patient population. Duties Support physical therapists by preparing treatment areas and assisting with patient positioning during therapy sessions Monitor patient progress and provide encouragement to promote active participation in rehabilitation exercises Assist with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining treatment plans clearly Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in accordance with clinic protocols Ensure all equipment is sanitized, properly maintained, and ready for use in various clinical settings such as hospitals, clinics, or sub-acute care facilities Help facilitate smooth clinic operations by managing scheduling and coordinating patient flow Provide compassionate patient care by addressing individual needs and fostering a welcoming environment Skills Strong understanding of patient service principles and commitment to delivering excellent patient care Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation therapy Experience working in hospital or clinical settings, especially in inpatient or outpatient environments Familiarity with acute care, post-acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, and hospital medicine practices Ability to support intake procedures and assist patients with mobility or exercise routines effectively Prior experience in sub-acute or outpatient rehab settings is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients about their treatment plans Join us at Southern Physical Therapy Clinic where your dedication can truly make a difference!
