Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Full Time, Rehabilitation Department Clinical Aide to join our skilled Rehabilitation Team in Voorhees, NJ. This position is 40 hours per week & eligible for our full benefits package.

Position Summary:
The Rehabilitation Department Clinical Aide is an integral member of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, performing various departmental tasks/activities that support the overall functioning of the Rehabilitation Department, and the ability of the Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists to perform their duties. Accepts supervision /assignments from the Clinical Coordinators, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, and PT/OT Assistants as indicated. #V2
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for various departmental tasks/activities that support the overall functioning of the Rehabilitation Department, and the ability of the therapists to perform their duties: Performs routine/general non-therapeutic resident activities such as feeding and carry-over activities as directed by supervisor Transports patients to and from therapy sessions. Prepares/maintains treatment areas and therapy equipment. Modifies treatment materials as directed by departmental Therapist(s). Obtains identifying patient information; sets-up departmental patients files. Maintains departmental forms and inventory. Participates in Quality Improvement duties as needed. Supports periodic organization of treatment and billing documentation. Performs other duties as assigned by department leadership
Position Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED Experience work with children in a developmental setting Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation. Can perform basic computer literacy. Effective communication skills Exhibits good judgment, tact, and patience during interactions with patients, families, and staff Ability to function as a team member and to work independently, or under supervision, as task requires Practices good organizational and time management skills Current AHA or ARC CPR certification
