Know Your Team:
Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities:
The Rehabilitation Aide supports clinical staff in care delivery by preparing the treatment area, patient, equipment, and materials; performing procedures under supervision. They are also responsible for monitoring materials and provisions and informing the manager of ordering needs.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Demonstrates familiarity with the shared governance model and performance improvement. Demonstrates respectful and effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues. Develops an emerging awareness of ethical issues and how they relate to clinical practice. Demonstrates applied knowledge base in areas of policies, procedures, standards of care, and medications by utilizing HackensackUMC@ Pascack Valley.
Preferred Job Requirements:
1+ years of experience. Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
