Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs), including those with limited permits, to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse settings such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health environments, and acute care hospitals. Your expertise will help patients of all ages—pediatrics to geriatrics—regain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized therapy plans. Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and well-being Implement and modify individualized care plans in collaboration with licensed therapists and healthcare teams Provide therapy interventions in various settings including home health visits, outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and skilled nursing facilities Support patients across different age groups—pediatrics to geriatrics—by applying specialized techniques in geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care environments Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes Contribute to interdisciplinary team efforts by communicating patient needs and progress effectively Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards during all patient interactions Requirements Valid licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT), or holding a valid limited permit for licensure renewal or supervised practice Experience assisting with ADLs and providing patient care in diverse settings such as home health, inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, or skilled nursing facilities Knowledge of medical imaging procedures, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support accurate assessments and documentation Familiarity with care planning processes for various populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and patients in acute or outpatient settings Strong understanding of occupational health principles and the ability to adapt therapy techniques accordingly Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients about their treatment plans Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail and compassion Join us in delivering exceptional occupational therapy services that transform lives!
