  • 45/hour Flexible PRN scheduling Reliable hours available PRN opportunities within the largest network in South Carolina Potential for full-time opportunities Supportive, collaborative rehab team Position Summary As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services that help residents improve independence and daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care as directed by the Occupational Therapist Assist residents with improving activities of daily living (ADLs) Follow physician treatment plans and therapy goals Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes in accordance with regulations Monitor and report patient progress to the therapy team Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration Help maintain a clean, safe therapy environment Assist with training Restorative Aides as needed Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active, unencumbered COTA license in South Carolina (required) Experience in a long-term care or rehab setting preferred Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassion for an underserved population Why Join Cherrydale Post Acute?
