Job Description
Overview Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Temple, TX Therapy Aide Inpatient Facility Full Time Starting rate: $17.50/hr Responsibilities Seeking a rehab therapy aide to join a multi-disciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs providing care to patients in our Inpatient Hospital. The successful candidate will participate in clinical care under the direction of licensed therapists in a fast moving day rehab setting caring for patients with post acute neurological injuries including stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. Duties will include providing physical assistance with therapy intervention, maintaining equipment within the department, assisting with patient transportation and other administrative tasks.
Related experience is preferred, though training will be provided to enthusiastic applicants seeking an opportunity in the rehab setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to serve patients as an integral member of the therapy team. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience for application to professional degree programs. Qualifications One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred.
