Job Description

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver patient-centered rehab services in diverse clinical settings nationwide. In this role, you'll work under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists to implement treatment plans that improve patients' functional independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include direct patient care, documentation, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and patient and caregiver education. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist across diverse clinical settings Implement and adapt treatment plans to support patients' functional independence and rehabilitation goals Accurately document patient progress, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to support holistic care plans Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and use of assistive equipment Maintain professional, ethical, and safety standards while working in travel, contract, or permanent assignments Communicate regularly with Jackson Therapy Partners recruiters to align assignments with career and lifestyle goals Required Skills Occupational therapy interventions Treatment planning and implementation Rehabilitation documentation and EMR use Patient and caregiver education Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology Interdisciplinary team collaboration Understanding of OT regulations and best practices Time management in fast-paced clinical settings Clinical assessment of functional abilities Professional communication with patients and staff
