Role:
New Horizon Therapy is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help as needed in a clinical environment. Position Details PRN / As-needed. Flexible scheduling. Weekdays. No weekends. Supportive therapy team. A contract position. What You'll Do Provide pediatric occupational therapy treatments under the direction of the OT Follow through with written plans Document treatments Collaborate with therapy team as needed Support a positive and engaging environment What We're Looking For Active COTA license in Arizona Strong documentation and communication skills Reliable and flexible with scheduling
Responsibilities:
Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans. Conduct therapy sessions. Document patient progress. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment for clients.
Requirements:
Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA). Active state licensure in Arizona. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with pediatric clients. Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs. Basic proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
