Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients in various settings, including skilled nursing facilities, acute care, clinics, and home health environments. The COTA will assist in implementing individualized care plans aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities Assist in the implementation of treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist. Provide direct patient care in various settings, including inpatient facilities and home health. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support patient rehabilitation efforts. Conduct therapeutic activities that promote physical and mental well-being. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques. Experience Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or acute care setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is a plus. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to occupational therapy practices. Experience in developing and following care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while assisting patients with diverse needs. Pay:
$60.00 - $65.00 per hour
